: (1) The Government of Nepal will make necessary arrangements for the disabled to participate in sports related activities by making special arrangements according to their needs like other people.
(2) Organizations or bodies that organize sports development and competitions shall develop and promote sports by involving disabled people in sports-related competitions.
(3) For the purposes of sub-section (1) and (2), the organization or body authorized to develop sports may conduct the following programs to encourage persons with disabilities to participate in sports:-
(a) To review sports curricula and programs to ensure access and inclusive participation of persons with disabilities (b) Re-designing the sports ground and physical infrastructure so as to have accessibility and facilities for the disabled,
(c) To develop and use the necessary technology to reveal the talents and abilities of people with disabilities towards sports,
(d) Organizing sports competitions involving persons with disabilities,
(e) Effectively representing persons with disabilities in international, national, provincial and local level mechanisms related to sports,
(f) To make children with disabilities participate like other children in sports and extracurricular activities conducted at the school level and to arrange appropriate training, training, competitions and resources for them to participate in sports developed based on the nature of their disabilities,
(G) To do other work as specified.
